For two and a half weeks, I had the privilege of keeping an energetic husky/shepherd mix and two sprightly cats fed and entertained. Errands to the shredder and recycling center kept things lively, between jogs up mountain trails with the family dog.

Caring for 700 Free-Range Chickens in Costa Rica

 

What a unique experience! My partner and I enjoyed very much the opportunity to care for a free-range chicken farm and a small cabina in the rainforest of Costa Rica for a month. A lot of work in rubber boots... but we also brought touches of art and carpentry to the farm.
